These clever spacers allow the fitting of the taper roller head bearings which are standard on later small twins in place of the often damaged and fiddly OE ball bearing races.The taper roller bearings last much longer and are easily replaced unlike the ball bearing races

This part consists of 2 x taper roller adapters and a pair of taper roller bearings, depending on the condition of your stem it may be necessary to shim the taper roller bearings. You may find that extra headlamp rubbers SUA39701 are required to take up the extra distance between the top and bottom yoke on the fork stanchions. See The Shed for instructions.
