RAM Clutch Kit Upgrade

CLA20305 Fits 850 GT, V7 Sport, S3, 750S, 850/1000 ALL Models

Complete single disc clutch kit for 5 speed big twins containing flywheel, new deep spline clutch hub, friction plate, spring plate, pressure plate, and flywheel bolts. Suitable for all big twins with either distributor or crankshaft mounted ignition system, not suitable for Digiplex equipped models.

This clutch upgrade has the following advanges over the old two plate clutch:

Reduction in flywheel and clutch weight of approx. 1KG
Improved acceleration
Smoother gear changes at high RPM
Quicker engine decelleration
Reduction in engine vibration as the clutch assembly is (this is not possible with the original clutch)
Lighter handlebar clutch lever action
More precise clutch engagement and disengagement.
More progressive clutch engagement.
Increased ability to handle higher torque and horsepower.
Lower clutch disk wear (reduced maintenance)
Fewer parts (no intermediate plate, no second friction plate) to wear out
Ease of assembly - gearbox can be fitted to engine without centering of the clutch disk.

Kits are complete as shown including: flywheel, new deep spline clutch hub, friction plate, spring plate, pressure plate, and flywheel bolts. See CLA30399 for replacement clutch plate. Clutch plate kit consisting of 2 x friction plates, 1 x intermediate plate, deep splined clutch centre / boss and tabbed lock washer (not shown). For models with the early type shallow spline plates this is a worthwhile upgrade kit to the better deep splined centre and plates. Clutch plate alignment tool also available, see TOA30510. Suitable for all 5 speed dual plate clutch models

Save £20 on the cost of these components if bought seperately. Does not include clutch springs (see CLA13100). Thicker side of each friction plate should face transmission

V11 Tenni, Rosso Mandello and Scura have a single plate clutch which uses a different friction plate (unfortunately out of production)
