Alternator upgrade kit for Bosch systems containing stator windings, wound rotor and replacement diode board. The superior design alternator has an output up to 300% greater than the original Bosch system. You may wish to fit a plastic alternator spacer ENA18150 if your model does not have one of these already (to improve cooling of the alternator). You will need front crank seal ENA90428 (Bosch seal) if you wish to fit this to a bike with a Saprisa charging system. This kit reuses your existing Bosch regulator and stator plate with brush holder, see ELA29703 for a replacement regulator and ELA17452 for brush holders.

• Outputs 600W @5000 RPM
• Supplied with rotor removal tool
• For tapered crankshafts

1. Remove stator and rotor using the supplied rotor removal tool
2. Remove the old stator windings from the stator plate
3. Solder in the new stator widing wires to the connection block on the stator plate and reconnect the
4. Mount the replacement diode board, this should be protected from the weather but cooled by passing air
5. Connect up the system as follows: Terminals U,V and W take the three yellow wires which should be connected to the stator plate block; Y goes to Y on the stator plate; The brown wires go to earth (we recommend using some earth sleeve on these if possible); Red goes to the battery positive terminal; regulator wiring remains as before (D+ to diode board, D- to earth and DF to brush holder)
6. Check charge warning light is working (earth DF wire at stator to check bulb function)
7. Turn motor over by hand to ensure everything is seated correctly, there should be an air gap between the stator windings amd rotor

Clutch plate kit consisting of 2 x friction plates, 1 x intermediate plate, deep splined clutch centre / boss and tabbed lock washer (not shown). For models with the early type shallow spline plates this is a worthwhile upgrade kit to the better deep splined centre and plates. Clutch plate alignment tool also available, see TOA30510. Suitable for all 5 speed dual plate clutch models

For an oil change we also recommend 1x ENA90444 (Oil filter cover O ring), 1 x SIA10070 (large sump drain crush washer), 1 x SIA10900 (small sump drain crush washer) and 1 x SIA12200 (filter cover crush washer).
