Alternator upgrade kit for Bosch systems containing stator windings, wound rotor and replacement diode board. The superior design alternator has an output up to 300% greater than the original Bosch system. You may wish to fit a plastic alternator spacer ENA18150 if your model does not have one of these already (to improve cooling of the alternator). You will need front crank seal ENA90428 (Bosch seal) if you wish to fit this to a bike with a Saprisa charging system. This kit reuses your existing Bosch regulator and stator plate with brush holder, see ELA29703 for a replacement regulator and ELA17452 for brush holders.

1. Remove stator and rotor using the supplied rotor removal tool
2. Remove the old stator windings from the stator plate
3. Solder in the new stator widing wires to the connection block on the stator plate and reconnect the
4. Mount the replacement diode board, this should be protected from the weather but cooled by passing air
5. Connect up the system as follows: Terminals U,V and W take the three yellow wires which should be connected to the stator plate block; Y goes to Y on the stator plate; The brown wires go to earth (we recommend using some earth sleeve on these if possible); Red goes to the battery positive terminal; regulator wiring remains as before (D+ to diode board, D- to earth and DF to brush holder)
6. Check charge warning light is working (earth DF wire at stator to check bulb function)
7. Turn motor over by hand to ensure everything is seated correctly, there should be an air gap between the stator windings amd rotor

Complete sump kit which moves the oil filter out from within the sump to a recess under the sump. This simpifies and speeds up oil changes because the sump no longer needs to be removed. Oil cooling is also improved because oil will cool through the body of the filter. The complete sump kit is a simple fit that will speed up oil changes and reduce the risk of stripping crankcase bolts through repeated sump removal. It is very similar to the arrangement on modern CARC models. The kit consists of:

1. Deep sump casting (82mm deep) with all oil ways. Uses oil filter SIA14530
   Replaces sump extension ENA14002. Finished in black this is a great upgrade for your Guzzi

   Depending on model you may need a longer dipstick e.g. ENA28495. You can calibrate the sump by adding 3l of oil and marking the position on the dipstick. Note that you need to transfer your oil pressure relief valve and the intake screen from your existing sump into this new one. Note also that the stamped steel covers on some oil pressure relief valves flare wider than others so you may need to make a little clearance in order to get the threads started. Complete chromed Hepco and Becker rear luggage rack and pannier rails for Hepco and Becker panniers
