Brembo brake master cylinder overhaul kit for handlebar, undertank (cable operated) mounted, handlebar mounted and rear PS 12 master cylinders. Contains seals, brake grease, spring and piston. PS12 handlebar master cylinder fitted to early 850 and 1000 models. PS12 rear master cylinder fitted to Nevada 750

This seal kit is also known as 082039797. NB repair kit instructions refer to rear master cylinder. To fit this to a PS12 handlebar mounted cylinder you will need to punch the old piston out using a thin drift through the hole at the banjo bolt end of the master cylinder. Linked Guzzi brake systems are notoriously tricky to bleed, this M6 auto bleed nipple can save you hours of tedious squeezing and pumping! This bleed nipple is slightly longer than the standard part so some thread will be left showing even when fully closed.

This seal kit replaces Guzzi part numbers 17659350, 66139790. Brembo ref. 110273920. This repair kit also used on some Cagiva 650 Elefant models and Benelli Sei. Some Nevada 750 models use BRA14701, check your rear master cylinder before ordering. See this link for help with fitting this kit. Supercedes front kit BRA11043
Note that this kit is only for PS15 models where the piston is retained by a ring, if your master cylinder has a circlip retaining the piston then you have a PS 16 and you will need to replace the whole master cylinder - see BRA19001 for a replacement
